The East German Construction Industry Award goes to BTU graduate Florian Schildberg

Under the title HOLZFABRIK BRANDENBURG, Florian Schildberg wrote his master's thesis in the winter semester of 2021/2022 with visiting professor Christina Köchling and studied it in greater depth in the field of building construction and design with Prof. Karl Plastrotmann. He has now received the East German Construction Industry Award for his excellent, innovative work.

Comenius EduMedia Award for innovative BTU project

On June 23, 2022, the Brandenburg University of Technology (BTU) Cottbus-Senftenberg received the European Comenius EduMedia Award for Digital Educational Media 2022 in Berlin for a new educational game "re:construction". The app was developed by the university's Information, Communication and Media Center (IKMZ).

With the trial study to the individual desired subject

From Tuesday to Friday, June 28 to July 1, 2022, the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) will be offering "Try first, then study". Pupils from the 10th to 13th grades, as well as all other prospective students, are invited to take part in a trial study program.

The BTU is the most cycling-active team at this year's city cycling event in Cottbus

After last year's success, the BTU was once again able to take 1st place in the "Stadtradeln" competition in Cottbus this year. For three weeks, Cottbus pedaled hard in the city cycling competition. Around 1,730 cyclists in 81 teams put their backs into it and rode 334,640 kilometers - for climate protection and their own health.
