Teaching
We offer lectures, seminars, and lab courses for bachelor and master students. Lectures introduce into Industrial Microbiology or Downstream Processing. The lecture Microbial Metabolism focusses on selected topics relevant for current research approaches. It tries to make clear how experimental data lead to models explaining physiological phenomena i.e. a growth phenotype.
Lab courses help to become familiar with our microorganisms and qualitative or quantitative test systems. To discuss methods and conclusions drawn from our results in comparison with that of other scientific research groups we offer seminars.
