Semester Opening Party WiSe 24 In cooperation with the round table of the FSRs Senftenberg

  • Semester Opening Party without a specific music genre, but with as much partying as possible by DJOH
  • Party that the first week at university has been mastered
  • Drinks will be provided in the form of a bar
  • There will be a good atmosphere on site

First week 24 In cooperation with the round table of the FSRs SFB

  • We are planning to organize a Freshers' Week again this year. This time, however, we don't want to take care of it alone, but rather work together with the other Departmental Committees.
  • Monday: Big introductory event in Cottbus
  • Tuesday: City rally
  • Wednesday: Legendary games evening
  • Thursday: Movie night
  • Friday: On this day you have the chance to visit the CCN (Campus Club Night) in Cottbus. Our semester opening party will take place one week later.

European Football Championship semi-final 2024 Public Viewing In cooperation with the round table of the FSRs SFB

  • Organisation of public viewing for both semi-finals of the European Football Championship 2024
  • Matches:
    • First semi-final: Spain vs. France
    • Second semi-final: England vs. the Netherlands (one day later)
  • Location: Lecture theatre with large projector
  • Catering:
    • Day 1:
      • Drinks from the FMET
      • Waffles in national flag colours from the LaP
    • Day 2:
      • Drinks from the FSR BT-MC
      • Sandwiches from the FSR Therapy Sciences

Game night in the Mensa Lounge Own event with the support of the FMET and the FSR Therapy Sciences

  • Game night on 30.05.24 organised together with FMET and FSR Therapy Sciences
  • Bar with various drinks available
  • Variety of games provided available
  • Students were also allowed to bring their own games
  • Several games of chess and Monopoly were played
  • Video game corner set up where Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros. were played

Semester Opening Party summer semester 2024 Event as round table

  • Semester opening party with a focus on 2000s music organised in cooperation as a round table
  • Location: Mensa Lounge
  • Bar and grilled food from FMET
  • FMET donated a fancy awning for ticket sales
  • Music: Three DJs (all students) played 2000s hits

Snowflake ball Own event organised by the FSR BT-MC

  • Location: Festively prepared cafeteria, Senftenberg campus
  • Admission was from 4 p.m. with a champagne and juice reception and canapés
  • Welcoming speeches by the Vice President for Research and Transfer and the Mayor of Senftenberg
  • Highlight: One hour of live music by the duet: "Sax-o-flute", followed by a DJ with classical dance music
  • Snacks and drinks were available throughout the evening

Student Christmas Market 2023 In collaboration with the FMET

  • Christmas market on the Senftenberg campus (13.12 and 14.12, both from 16:00 to 20:00)
  • Parallel on 13.12 from 17:00 to 20:00: Poetry slam with a small prize
  • Staffing of the huts by BTU students and employees
  • On offer were:
    • All kinds of food and drinks
    • Handmade souvenirs

Mariokart tournament Own event of the FSR BT-MC

  • Mariokart tournament in the lecture theatre on a large projector
  • Drinks bar in front of the lecture theatre
  • A total of 8 teams, winning team received prizes

Freshers' Week winter semester 2023 Own event, FMET took over one of the stations

  • Introduction and getting to know the first semester students on campus
  • Monday: Large introductory event in Cottbus
  • Tuesday: City rally in 4 groups
  • Wednesday: Games evening
  • Thursday: Lake tour, but was cancelled due to rain
  • Friday: Semester opening party
