New top in the CreativeOpenLab (COLab)

COLab underwent a significant restructuring this year and is now directly part of the head of BTU.

Previously, COLab as a sub-project of the Start-up Revier EAST project and BTU structural change project was in the WTT department under Katrin Erb. We thank Ms. Erb and her department for the great cooperation.

By integrating the project into the university management, the BTU reaffirms its commitment to innovation and start-ups in the region. COLab is pleased to welcome Prof. Hübner and Sinikka Treuger as its new directors. Together, they want to spin off COLab by the end of 2024 and thus develop it from a temporary project into an established institution in Lusatia.

"With its technical infrastructure and expertise, COLab aims to provide even better support to the startup community, regional companies, and research and teaching at BTU in the future. We are looking forward to new exciting challenges," says the new operational project manager Sinikka Treuger.
