Tackling a serious issue with music and good humour – all fans of LAUT GEGEN NAZIS, the campus open-air festival in Cottbus, are warmly invited to join in. The concert will take place on Saturday, 25 July 2026 on the main campus (Forum) of BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg. Admission is free!

On Thursday, 30 July 2026, the castle terrace in Branitz Park will be transformed into a vibrant open-air stage from 7 pm until midnight. To mark the 228th birthday of the Cottbus-born landscape painter Carl Blechen, the Prince Pückler Museum, Branitz Park and Castle Foundation (SFPM) is hosting the famous Blechen Party.

Erasmus+ is an excellent program that enables students to gain valuable international work experience.

Until 31 August 2026, entrepreneurs, innovators, start-ups, start-up teams and innovative projects from the Lusatia region of Saxony and Brandenburg can submit applications to take part in the STAR*PARADE free of charge. We are looking for creative business ideas, technological innovations and forward-looking solutions across eight categories.

Graduation ceremony for graduates at the main campus

Matriculation ceremony: BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg invites all first-semester students, their families and friends to celebrate together with members of the university and representatives of the cities of Cottbus and Senftenberg. Admission is free.
