The large special exhibition in the Pergamon Museum "Pergamon - Panorama of the Ancient Metropolis" from September 2011 to September 2012, which already attracted 250,000 visitors after ten weeks, presents initial research results and forms the basis for the development of new presentation concepts for future exhibitions of the Berlin Collection of Classical Antiquities. Visitors will be able to see many objects from the Pergamon Museum's depots. In addition, a digital 3D visualization of the city of Pergamon and its surrounding area as well as the interactive iPad application "iCon.text" will enable visitors to immerse themselves in the knowledge process of archaeological reconstruction.
