Heike Radvan is awarded with the ALICE SALOMON AWARD

Heike Radvan is awarded for her work against right-wing extremism, antisemitism and antifeminism.

The prize in the amount of 6000 € will be awarded to Heike Radvan in January 2020 by the Alice Salomon Hochschule Berlin. The award is given to personalities whose work has made remarkable contributions to the emancipation of women and the academic development of the field of Social Work, thereby carrying forward the work of Alice Salomon.

The jury acknowledged Heike Radvan as "an extraordinarily involved, courageous and innovative researcher". Through her work, she is carrying the discipline of Social Work forward in a special way - "She does not shy away from social conflicts, but relates them in a remarkable and effective way to the field of Social Work. She reflects on the transferability of experiences on the highest scientific level"

The prize will be awared on Saturday, January 11, during the New Year's reception of the Alice Salomon Hochschule. You may register your participation at award@ ash-berlin.eu.
