BTU4Future Festival

The Chair of Sociology of Technology and the Environment invites to a festival on February 9+10 2023 with talks/panels, workshops, exhibitions and an evening program addressing transformation, climate protection and sustainable development!

Climate protection and sustainable development are among the key challenges facing contemporary societies. Politics, business and civil society are equally challenged to confront the causes and consequences of climate change and to engage with the political project of sustainable development. The transdisciplinary BTU4FUTURE Festival brings together research, activism, Cottbus culture, students, teachers, city residents and all interested parties for a 2-day open exchange on topics related to climate protection and sustainable development.

The festival will begin on Jan. 9, 2023, at 1 p.m. Gründungszentrum Startblock B2 (SIEMENS-HALSKE-RING 2) and the FabLab Cottbus (Walther-Pauer-Straße 7) both on the BTU campus and concludes Feb. 10 at 3 PM.
