Spring concert of the Blasorchester Cottbus

Spring Concert by the Cottbus Wind Orchestra

The Cottbus Wind Orchestra invites you to its traditional spring concert on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the concert hall of the Cottbus Conservatory. Under the baton of conductor Markus Witzsche, the audience can look forward to a varied concert program featuring works by Peter Tchaikovsky, Jacob de Haan, Henry Mancini, and Hans Hütten. Let yourself be swept away on a musical journey from the Spreewald to the southeastern United States—through North Carolina and Virginia—and into the cinematic worlds of Mowgli and the Pink Panther. Wiebke Reichenbach will guide the audience through the program.

Admission is free. Donations are gratefully accepted.
