We celebrate Europe!

The first major EUNICE event will take place from 11 to 22 October: From webinars and information forums to competitions and cultural events, there is something for everyone.

Four years ago, when French President Emmanuel Macron pleaded for the re-foundation of a sovereign, united and democratic Europe in his much-cited Sorbonne speech, he laid the foundation for the establishment of the European Universities. The objective is nothing less than to improve the quality and competitiveness of European higher education. This is exactly what EUNICE - the European University for Customised Education - is working on. In the future, we want to train our students in such a way that they are competitive in a globalised professional world. Likewise, we want to shape their European identity. To achieve this, we offer them not only a solid technical background but also courses on global competences, so students are sensitised to the richness and diversity of cultures and languages.

A first highlight on the way to promote interculturality and European values are the EUNICE WEEKS from 11 to 22 October 2021, an annual event that kicks off this year. Participants can expect a series of webinars, debates, conferences, discussion and information forums, as well as e-games competitions and cultural events. All EUNICE member communities will have the opportunity to come together, learn from each other, exchange ideas, explore synergies and create a solid network for collaboration. During the two weeks, important aspects such as virtual and physical mobility of students and staff, awareness of European culture and promotion of global competences will be addressed.

EUNICE WEEKS 2021 will take place online due to the pandemic, but we are hopeful that future editions will be held at partner universities.

This event is open to all, for free.
The complete programme and all further information can be found at the EUNICE-Website.
