More autonomy for universities? Symposium on the amendment of the Brandenburg Higher Education Act

The Brandenburg Higher Education Act is currently being amended. The legislature intends to update and further develop the current law in many areas - oriented towards the challenges of a successful science location.

However, it is highly questionable whether this is also associated with a strengthening of "higher education autonomy" as opposed to an expansion of higher education's rights of participation and individual responsibility.
