CSD Action Weeks in Cottbus and Lusatia

The traditional opening of the CSD action weeks took place again this year at the central campus of the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg. The motto this year is "Diversity - colourful, open, free?!!". The raising of the rainbow flag on 15.08.22 marked the start of two weeks in which the rights and visibility of LGBTIQ+ as well as peace, respect and esteem in the city will be the focus.

The rainbow flags will be visible at all BTU locations during the two weeks of action.

The CSD action weeks will take place from 15 August to 27 August 2022. The programme and further information can be found on the homepage of CSD Cottbus e.V. The highlight of the action weeks is the demo on Saturday, 27 August 2022 through the city with a stop at the central campus of the BTU. The demo will start at 3 pm at Schillerpark near the State Theatre.

In addition, BTU professor Heike Radvan will open the exhibition "Nothing works without courage here! Lesbian, gay and trans* in Brandenburg - yesterday and today" in House 5 of the State Office for Social Affairs and Supply (LASV). The exhibition shows the diversity of Brandenburg's life stories, of self-assertion and persecution from the Empire to today.
