Background to the planned innovation axis Berlin - Lausitz
An initiative made up of representatives from municipalities, companies and scientific institutions from Berlin and Brandenburg is committed to an axis of innovation from Berlin to Lusatia. This should help to shape the far-reaching structural change in view of the phase-out of lignite-fired power generation. Among other things, the initiative wants to create a corridor of innovation and sustainability along the Berlin-Lausitz axis.
