EI(N)FÄLLE 2023 | The 26th Student SATIRE Festival in Cottbus

New start for the 26th Student SATIRE Festival EI(N)FÄLLE in Cottbus from January 19 to 22, 2023. 22 groups or soloists from seven German states and Switzerland will come to Cottbus. Advance ticket sales begin on December 19, 2022.

The Student SATIRE Festival EI(N)FÄLLE is a podium and platform for German student cabaret. Every year in January, students meet in Cottbus who have dedicated themselves to the genre of cabaret, individually or in groups, supported or self-sufficient. The result is a unique mixture of young, dynamic, creative and playful cabaret. An enthusiastic audience makes this event a very special highlight. EI(N)FÄLLE is an experience!

The complete program can be viewed online at www.satirefestival.de/programm.

The events will take place at the Cottbus Conservatory on Puschkinpromenade and in the interim refectory and large lecture hall at the Cottbus Central Campus of the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg. The opening of the festival will be held by the Minister of Science, Research and Culture of the State of Brandenburg Dr. Manja Schüle on January 19, 2023 at 7:00 pm at the Cottbus Conservatory in Puschkinpromenade.

Already from 1996 to 2020 - for 25 years - the Student SATIRE Festival EI(N)FÄLLE in Cottbus was a success story. In the last two years it could not take place. Now, preparations for the 26th Student SATIRE Festival EI(N)FÄLLE are in full swing. The event will be relaunched from January 19 to 22, 2023 - small but nice, with fewer events and fewer participants* than usual.

Including the supporting program, seven events with 22 groups or soloists will take place. These come from seven German states and Switzerland. Beforehand, there will be two more events as a warm-up: the satirical short film night EI(N)BLICKE and the Science Slam.
