New opening: Welcome to the DLR_School_Lab at BTU!

Under the motto "Experience the future - here and now!", the new DLR_Schlool_Lab at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) offers students from the 7th grade onwards the opportunity to explore the fascinating world of science through their own experiments.

The experiments are based on the main research areas of the DLR institutes and the BTU in Cottbus and deal with the topics of aerodynamics, fluid dynamics, space travel, energy, electrified aircraft propulsion systems andlow-CO2 industrial processes. The BTU thus joins the prominent ranks of science locations that make it possible for children and young people to experience scientific phenomena and technical innovations with exciting experiments in a DLR_School_Lab.

After the official opening in the morning with greetings from BTU President Prof. Gesine Grande, DLR CEO Prof. Anke Kaysser-Pyzalla, and the Federal Government's Coordinator for German Aerospace Dr. Anna Christmann, the DLR_School_Lab will be open to the public from noon to 2 p.m. The DLR_School_Lab will also be open to the public. We cordially invite you to visit!
