Marco Tamayo plays compositions by Bach, Sor, Grieg, Barrios

MARCO TAMAYO is a world-renowned Cuban guitarist who began his concert career as a child prodigy at the tender age of 6. He won many of the most important international competitions and gave countless concerts as a soloist with renowned orchestras and conductors.
Marco Tamayo is the artistic director of the international competitions in Alessandria ('Michele Pittaluga') and Klagenfurt, has worked as a professor in Sydney, Gdansk and Klagenfurt and currently teaches as a professor at both the Mozarteum Salzburg and the Berlin University of the Arts. Many of his students have gone on to successful international careers.
He is a member of numerous juries, a regular guest lecturer at masterclasses, has recorded several highly acclaimed recordings and is the author of the book 'Essential Principles for the Interpretation on the Classical Guitar'.

Marco Tamayo will interpret compositions by J. S. Bach, F. Sor, E. Grieg and A. Barrios.
