To the future day to the BTU to Cottbus or Senftenberg
An exciting and informative program awaits the young people - again live and in presence. Numerous interested people are expected to attend the Future Day for Girls and Boys in Brandenburg at all three major BTU campuses - the Cottbus Central Campus, the Cottbus-Sachsendorf Campus and the Senftenberg Campus. Business administration, social sciences, environmental and health sciences, and art courses and careers will also be presented. Not only interesting lectures are planned, but also laboratory tours and hands-on experiments. Teachers and students welcome you and are available for discussions. The student advising team will provide information about study opportunities and conditions.
At the central campus in Cottbus, participants will learn about intelligent, self-learning machines, microsensors and what astronauts do on the space station. They experience exciting scientific phenomena in the MINT lab, and in the new DLR_School_Lab they travel into the world of weightlessness and explore the International Space Station ISS using VR goggles. "From biowaste to resource" is a current lecture topic. Guided lab tours will take a look into the Campus TV studio and highlight the topics of virtual reality and artificial intelligence. Experiments in the high-voltage hall, the investigation of nanostructures and a guided tour of the IKMZ are also on the program. Insights into the dual study program and especially that of business administration, into student projects from architecture, civil engineering and urban planning and into the bachelor's degree programs of the Faculty of Civil Engineering round off the program.
At the Cottbus-Sachsendorf campus, as at the other locations, the girls and boys will be introduced to the study opportunities and conditions at the BTU in an opening lecture. An introduction to the social work degree program, including fields of work and internship opportunities, will follow. Under the motto "Teach your musical passion," the Instrumental and Vocal Pedagogy degree program will be presented.
At theSenftenberg campus , the newly established medical technology course will focus on the production of additively manufactured orthoses using a 3D scanner and 3D printer in a full-day workshop. Under the motto "Technology that moves! - Means of transport rethought and self-made", another workshop offers the opportunity to develop a product for the transport of goods - and this from the idea to the finished implementation. In the intoxication goggles parkour - the students experience in a sober state how the perception changes with 0.8 or 1.3 per mille alcohol. There are also valuable tips on how to deal with health and illness. Suddenly 80" is the title of another program item that enables a change of perspective with the help of the age research suit. Also on the program is a short tour of the Skills Lab of the health-related degree programs.
