With the trial study to the individual desired subject

From Tuesday to Friday, June 27 to 30, 2023, the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) will be offering "Try first, then study". Pupils from the 10th to 13th grades, as well as all other prospective students, are invited to take part in a trial study program.

The three- to four-day events provide an opportunity to learn in depth about the content of the individual study programmes at the three major BTU locations - the Cottbus main campus, the Cottbus Cottbus-Sachsendorf campus and the Campus Senftenberg - and to see the excellent study conditions for yourself. The focus is on both established and newer study programmes, such as medical technology, midwifery, artificial intelligence or digital society.

Topics such as application and enrolment characterize the program, as do study processes and later career fields and opportunities. In addition to some "real" lectures, the trial program includes special presentations for students, laboratory tours, excursions, and discussions with students and professors - in other words, an "all-around study program" that helps students decide on the most suitable field of study. Culture and sightseeing are also part of the evening city discovery program.

Participation in the trial program is free of charge. Those interested still have the opportunity to register. Further information, the complete program as well as the on-line registration possibility for the sample study are available under: https://www.b-tu.de/probestudium. Here you will also find information and contacts regarding any overnight stays that may be necessary.
