10,000 euros for university events

The Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) and Sparkasse Spree-Neiße are continuing their long-standing close partnership this year. The cooperation agreement has now been signed by BTU President Prof. Dr. Gesine Grande and André Müller, Director of the Cottbus-Nord branch of Sparkasse Spree-Neiße.

Sparkasse Spree-Neiße will provide up to 10,000 euros for events at the Cottbus site. This will make it possible to organize participatory activities and events that appeal to the general public and inspire them with enthusiasm for science and research. Whether it is the children's and schoolchildren's university, the Mathematikum or events with special guests - many special events have already benefited from the support of Sparkasse Spree-Neiße in the past.

"We are very pleased that this cooperation will continue to make possible many additional offers that invite you to our campus and whet your appetite for science and research in a variety of ways," says Gesine Grande. André Müller emphasizes, "As a partner of the BTU and the entire region, we are happy to make our contribution to supporting formats that impart knowledge, arouse curiosity, and fund community."
