DAK company run in Cottbus - We were there!

Around 1,878 runners and walkers took part in this year's DAK company run in Cottbus in beautiful running weather. The BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg was also represented by 35 Staff Members and students. All participants of a company were divided into teams of three. A total of 579 teams took to the starting line. The best BTU team, consisting of Michael Mannel, Silvio Misera and Lucien Genge, achieved a great 16th place.

The 4-kilometer loop started in the beautiful Puschkin Park. Along the green banks of the Spree, further over the Cottbus Altmarkt, it went back to the finish in the Puschkinpark. Our fastest BTU runner completed the lap in 15:38 minutes, and the fastest female BTU runner finished with a time of 22:30 minutes.
