chesco at the Berlin Airshow ILA 2024

ILA Berlin, a leading exhibition in innovation, new technology and sustainability, brings global aerospace to the heart of Europe every two years. Here, visitors can see and experience how the transformation of civil aviation towards climate neutrality will succeed.

BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg will be represented with a stand in the Aviation section and will present the research of the Institute of Transportation Technology. The departments of this institute contribute their research to the Center for Hybrid Electric Systems Cottbus (chesco). As part of the research focus on hybrid-electric technologies, a new master's degree program will be introduced at BTU this year. At our ILA stand you can find out more about this course and all the activities of the chesco. The first components from the chesco research factory will be presented and the latest projects introduced. You will find us from June 5 to 9 in Hall 4 at Stand 320.

CHESCO GmbH will also have a stand on the trade visitor days from June 5 to 7 and present the current offers in the field of agile manufacturing methods and digital technologies for future project partners. You will find this stand in the Supplier Center.

• On Wednesday, June 5, 2024, the region's projects in the field of aviation research will be presented under the title "Aviation Region OST*-Germany: Climate-friendly Propulsion, *Opportunities through Science and Technology", 5 p.m., ILA Stage Future Lab
• On Thursday, June 6, 2024, the Center for Hybrid Electric Systems will present itself at the joint stand of the capital region
• On Friday, June 7, 2024, representatives of chesco will present the hybrid-electric capabilities in Cottbus, 11 a.m., ILA Stage Future Lab
