A warm welcome to the new students

Enrolment ceremony: The Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) welcomes its new students with a ceremony on Monday, October 7, 2024, from 4 p.m. in the Cottbus Stadthalle.

Many young faces are looking around curiously: at the university, in the city, in the region. The new academic year has begun. The first semester students are welcomed by the university management, students and staff with a colorful celebration in the Stadthalle Cottbus. With a varied program, the matriculation ceremony is intended to help them feel at home in their new home from day one, make contacts and, above all, become part of the university community. The motto for the 2024/25 academic year is "WELCOME".
