Concert of the Guitar Artistic Training Programme

Philipp Seidel received his first guitar lessons at the age of 7. After graduating from high school and completing his senior year at the Hoyerswerda music school, he completed a bachelor's degree with honours in classical guitar at Cottbus University (BTU) in the class of Bernhard Dolch. Since then, he has been able to discover an incredible amount of music for himself and has learnt to love making music on the guitar. Following his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), he began an elite master's programme at BTU for intensive artistic training. During his studies, Philipp Seidel attended masterclasses with Zoran Dukic, Thomas Müller-Pering, Judicaël Perroy, Marko Topchii and Marcin Dylla, among others. In April 2024, he was awarded 1st prize at the XVI International Competition ‘Giovani Musicisti - Città di Treviso’ in the solo guitar category. He is not only a soloist, but has also started chamber music projects with excellent musicians. He took part in his first competition in Italy in June 2019 at the International Music Competition at the Marrucino Theatre in Chieti. Philipp Seidel won 1st prize there together with flautist Junyuan Tan. 
He has been successfully teaching his passion for music and especially the guitar, combined with his knowledge, at the Hoyerswerda Music School and as a private teacher since 2017. In 2020, he began arranging well-known melodies for the guitar. Due to the great popularity
