“Architectures of Colonialism” is out now

The volume “Architectures of Colonialism: Constructed Histories, Conflicting Memories,” edited by Vera Egbers, Christa Kamleithner, Özge Sezer, and Alexandra Skedzuhn-Safir, has been published by Birkhäuser as a special volume in the publication series of the DFG Research Training Group.

Based on the online conference “Architectures of Colonialism: Constructed Histories, Conflicting Memories” held in June 2021, the volume brings together international contributions on the decolonization of built heritage and builds bridges between archaeology, architectural history and heritage studies. The volume is available open access on the publisher’s website.
