Concerning the current situation in the Middle East

It is with great concern and dismay that we are observing the current escalating situation in the Middle East and the growing conflict there.

Our deepest sympathies go out to all our university members, students and staff, who are affected by this through their background, family or other personal connections. We offer them to access our psychological support services if needed. If neccessary, our teaching staff will support our students in finding suitable, individual solutions concerning their course of study.

Here at BTU, we stand for democratic values, for respect and tolerance and for a peaceful interaction with one another. Our university is home to students, staff and researchers from more than 120 countries and from all religious beliefs. Thus, we do not tolerate racism, anti-semitism and discrimination of any kind.
