Exciting kick-off of the EIZ SPARK Academy | From PhD to CEO!

Our EIZ SPARK Academy, a six-week training programme that supports scientists in turning their research ideas into successful business models, has been successfully launched.

Our programme started with an exciting kick-off session, followed by Module 1: Developing a business idea. Led by Nina Defounga, CEO of TOM SPIKE, and with the participation of 8 outstanding researchers from different energy research labs of the EIZ, we covered the following topics:

  • Challenges & opportunities of entrepreneurship
  • Lean Startup approaches & problem formulation in a business context
  • Problem solution fit & development of viable business ideas
  • And of course, we didn't want to miss out on playful learning with the Ball Point Game!
