Future Day at the BTU in Cottbus or Senftenberg
An exciting and informative programme with a wide range of workshops, experiments, lectures, campus and laboratory tours as well as individual student guidance and counselling awaits young people at BTU on Future Day for Girls and Boys in the State of Brandenburg.
The BTU is opening its doors at all three major BTU locations - the Cottbus main campus, the Cottbus-Sachsendorf campus and the Campus Senftenberg.
The Future Day offers the opportunity to get a taste of the wide range of courses on offer at the Lusatian university and to try out student life.

Environment and Natural Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Energy Systems, Human Sciences, Economics, Law and Society as well as Architecture, Civil Engineering and Urban Planning.
The programme starts at 9 a.m. at all three locations with information on all of BTU's study options and how to apply. Exciting experiments can be experienced in the high-voltage hall or in the Unex school laboratory, and there are also guided tours of laboratories and the university library. Young people can follow the reconstruction of the power grid after a blackout, familiarise themselves with AI-supported gesture recognition or make their own pocket warmer. In "Mission ISS", VR glasses are used to explore the International Space Station. Workshops on building bridges and setting up a business invite you to join in. Young women and girls meet female role models from technical professions. The Maths Escaperoom offers special challenges.
At the Cottbus-Sachsendorf campus, there will be the opportunity to take part in several workshops - on social work in a football fan environment, social justice and the topics "Learn a new alphabet in 20 minutes!" and "Social Work - You wouldn't have thought so much diversity".
