2nd EIZ Annual Meeting

Under the motto “Regional focus, global impact: Innovative solutions for the energy transition”, the Energy Innovation Center (EIZ) has been established as a successful research and innovation center over the past two and a half years. This will be celebrated appropriately in Cottbus.

On June 10th, 2025, this annual meeting, proudly hosted by the Control System and Cyber Security Lab (COSYS) and the High Power Grid Converter Lab (HPGC Lab), promises to be a hub of academic exchange and collaborative exploration.

The participants will have the opportunity to engage in a series of scientific sessions, poster presentations as well as key notes from academia and industry. The scope of the EIZ Annual Meeting program will cover all areas of energy technology and energy economics with applications in science and engineering.

On June 11th, 2025, the annual Brandenburg Energy Day will take place at the Brandenburg University of Technology (BTU) Cottbus-Senftenberg, in which the EIZ will host a specialist forum in the afternoon entitled “Lusatian Energy Innovation Forum”.

As the most important networking and exchange event for the energy sector in Brandenburg – with the participation of Brandenburg's Minister of Economic Affairs and major figures from federal politics, among others – it is an honor to jointly host the event during the Brandenburg Energy Day. 

The annual meeting and the Brandenburg Energy Day complement each other perfectly. All EIZ labs and EIZ partners will have the opportunity to present themselves as exhibitors at the Energy Day to contribute to current energy topics and further promote the transfer of research into practice.
