Master concert Goran Krivokapić - Guitar

Born in Montenegro, world-class guitarist Goran Krivokapić won his first international competition at the age of fourteen and went on to win a further eighteen first prizes at the world's most prestigious competitions, such as the International Concert Artist Competition organised by the Guitar Foundation of America (GFA). He also received two Chittara d'Oro awards at the annual International Guitar Convention in Alessandria/Italy.

Since then, he has performed regularly throughout Europe, North and South America, Asia, Africa and Russia - in renowned halls such as the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Tchaikovsky Hall in Moscow, the Lubkowitz Palace in Vienna and the Auditorio Conde Duque in Madrid.

His recordings and concerts have been highly praised in the international specialised press, including in: Gramophone (UK), Classical Guitar Magazine (UK), Soundboard Magazine (USA), The WholeNote (Canada), Akustik Gitarre (Germany), Neue Musikzeitung (Germany), Gendai Guitar Magazine (Japan).

As a performer, lecturer and juror, Goran Krivokapić is a frequent guest at major international festivals and universities worldwide. In addition to his solo activities, he forms the successful ‘Montenegrin Guitar Duo’ together with Danijel Cerović. He is a professor of guitar at the Cologne University of Music and also teaches at the Detmold University of Music.
