Winter Warming campaign to Disko Island, Greenland

Together with colleagues from University of Gothenburg, KIT Alpine Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Lund University we conducted a field trip to Arctic Station on Disko Island, Greenland.

In Blæsedalen we conduced for the second consecutive winter a one-week long soil warming campaign. This year work focused on quantifying biological N2 fixation by using stable isotope techniques.

We also sampled soil from two peatlands, for use in laboratory studies.
