Decarbonisation Summer School

Under the motto "Shaping the Future of Industry", CDI and LSN are jointly organising a Decarbonisation Summer School at BTU from 09.09. to 11.09.2025.

The event offers a unique opportunity to exchange ideas with like-minded people, gain practical experience and make a contribution to a climate-neutral future. Over the course of an intensive three-day programme, participants will work with industry experts and researchers in hands-on workshops, real-life case studies and site visits. They will gain exclusive insights into industrial processes, meet leading experts and make valuable cross-industry contacts.

As part of a design sprint, they will develop application-oriented solutions for decarbonising energy-intensive industries and supporting the energy transition in Germany.

Creative minds and passionate transformation scouts wanted!

Interested students, doctoral candidates and young professionals from the fields of Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Economic Sciences and Social Sciences are cordially invited to apply for the Decarbonisation Summer School via the online form on the CDI website. Participants will be selected on the basis of their responses to the application form, with English language proficiency of at least C1 level required.
