On Thursday 11 September 2025, it's time to get ready, get set, go. The DAK Cottbus company run invites you to an unforgettable running event in the heart of our city - and BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg will of course once again be taking part with a team. The 4.5 km route leads along the green banks of the Spree past the Spreewehrmühle mill through idyllic Cottbus - ideal for less experienced runners. Walking or fast walking is also welcome. The run starts at 18:00 in the beautiful Puschkinpark. Meeting point for our BTU team is at 17:00 at the blue BTU pavilion - there you will receive your start number, get in the mood together, take part in the team photo at 17:30 and warm up together.

Registration for the DAK company run

If you would like to start as part of the BTU team, please register by email with BTU Health Management. We will take care of your registration for the run (for this we need your first and last name, year of birth and T-shirt size - if you do not yet have a BTU running shirt) as well as the participation fee. If you are unable to take part in the run despite registration and cannot find a replacement, we would like to point out that the registration fee of 15 euros must be transferred back to the BTU.

Registration is now possible at gesundheitsmanagement(at)b-tu.de.

Be there - running, cheering, supporting. All non-runners are also welcome to accompany our team with loud clapping, hooting and cheering.

Running training in preparation for the DAK company run

From 26 June 2025, Christian Schrutek from the university sports team invites you to join him for free running training every Thursday from 4 pm to 5.30 pm on the main campus sports field. The focus is on building up solid basic endurance and improving your running technique.

The training is aimed at anyone who wants to optimally prepare for the DAK company run - whether you are a beginner, a recreational jogger or an experienced runner. Effective exercises will not only strengthen your endurance, but also improve your running economy - for more efficiency, less strain and a healthier running experience.
