The current situation in the Middle East

We are observing the current situation in the Middle East with great concern and dismay.

In these difficult times, we are thinking in particular of all members of the university - students and staff alike - who are directly affected by their background, family or personal connections. We offer them the opportunity to utilise the psychological support services at our university. If necessary, our teaching staff will be happy to support our students in finding suitable, individualised solutions for their study progress.

Here at BTU, we are committed to democratic values, respect, tolerance and peaceful interaction with one another. People from over 125 countries and a wide variety of faiths live, study and research here. Racism, anti-Semitism and discrimination of any kind have no place at our university.
