Innovative minds wanted: Apply now and join the EUNICE Student Research Club

The EUNICE Student Research Clubs (SRC) are returning for a second edition, this time in collaboration with ASG, the operating company of the Schwarze Pumpe industrial park.

The objective is for participants to address a realistic and current challenge faced by a German company in a research club, initially online and subsequently on site at ASG. The challenge is centred on the recruitment of skilled workers, with a particular emphasis on those from other European countries. The aim is to identify tools that will assist in the long-term retention of foreign skilled workers at the ASG and the industrial park.

Bachelor's and Master's students, as well as doctoral candidates from all disciplines at EUNICE partner universities, are invited to apply. Those who are successful in the selection process will be assigned to a Research Club, with an emphasis on gender balance, interdisciplinarity and internationality. Following close online collaboration, the individual research clubs will have the opportunity to present their innovative solutions in the form of pitches to ASG representatives and a EUNICE jury. The winning club can look forward to a varied programme from 10 to 14 November, with insights into the work of ASG and the Schwarze Pumpe industrial park.

Interested parties can find more information about the challenge and the detailed schedule here. The EUNICE team looks forward to receiving numerous applications by 26 September via this link!
