Students invite you to the Snowflake Ball at BTU
After the success of the past two years, the student organisation team of the ball can look forward to a long-term high demand for tickets. Remaining tickets are expected to be available online until midnight on Thursday 22 January.
A colourful programme in a festive atmosphere
The ball guests will be admitted to the festively decorated canteen from 5 pm with a champagne and juice reception. The President of BTU Prof. Dr Gesine Grande and the Mayor of Senftenberg Andreas Pfeiffer will introduce the ball at 6 pm with their welcoming speeches. Student presenters Elisa Michel and Elisabeth Großmann will also have their say and a student string quartet from the BTU's Institute of Instrumental and Vocal Performance and Teaching (IGP) will perform. From 8pm, the programme for the Snowflake Ball will include a variety of classical and modern dance music for couples from the DJ, which will turn into a party from 11pm to 2am.
Guests are requested to wear evening dress.
Catering will also be provided so that ball guests can feel completely at ease. Pretzels, canapés and cakes will be available for self-service. Drinks are available at the bar at a reasonable price.
The Snowflake Ball is organised by the Round Table of Student Councils at the Senftenberg campus of the BTU with renewed support from the City of Senftenberg and the Studierendenwerk Ost:Brandenburg with its team from the Senftenberg Mensa.
