Call for applications: Best STEM student at BTU 2025

This prize is open to female students enrolled in a STEM* degree programme at BTU Cottbus–Senftenberg. Bachelor's and Master's students from the second semester onwards are eligible to apply. The prizes are worth €500 (Bachelor's) and €1,000 (Master's) respectively and are awarded to female students with good to very good academic performance and exceptional commitment. The deadline for submissions is 28 February 2026.

Eligibility requirements
The scholarships are open to female BTU students.

Nomination
All employees of BTU Cottbus–Senftenberg are eligible to submit nominations. Students should submit their applications via the dean's office of their faculty. The application will then be forwarded to the Equal Opportunities Office.

Selection
All nominations submitted will be reviewed by the members of the jury, which is composed of representatives from the Equal Opportunities Council, the Student Council, the Commission for Teaching, Studies, Study Reform and Continuing Education, and the association's executive board. The jury will then decide on the awarding of the prize. The decision is expected to be made at the end of March 2026.
