BTU radio project with live programme "Feminist Radio Day" on 8 March
The topics range from feminist sound and gender medicine to violence prevention, girls' work and activism. The programme will conclude with a showcase for FLINTA* DJs from Cottbus, who will play live in the studio.
Interrupting the usual radio programme on 8 March for special broadcasts on feminist topics is a tradition on free radio. That's why sternchen.fm has invited people to bring in topics and guests for this day. Numerous feminist projects from Cottbus and Lusatia will come to the studio for interviews, project manager Prof. Dr Kiwi Menrath will talk to guests from Berlin about queer-feminist sound systems and Cottbus FLINTA* DJs will take over the music programme.
The doors of the project space and radio studio at Burgstraße 22 will be open: Anyone interested is invited to drop by and get an insight into the radio work and meet the team over a drink. The music programme from 6 p.m. to midnight can be used for dancing or a cosy end to Women's Day - at home or on site.
The live radio programme can be heard from 12-24h throughout Brandenburg on the DAB+ channel Radiokombinat Brandenburg and on the website sternchen.fm on the web radio.
