Go on a journey into the future with the DLR_Raumfahrt_Show
The popular science show, which is only presented once in each federal state, invites pupils in particular from third to sixth grade, but also older children and adults to the Staatstheater Cottbus at Schillerplatz 1. The two school events on 28 April are already fully booked.
There are still tickets left for the public opening event on 27 April at 4:30 pm. Admission is free.
Experiments involving the audience
The 90-minute DLR_Raumfahrt_Showcombinesscience, experiments and entertainment. DLR presenters take the audience on an exciting journey to future space missions, new aircraft technologies and current developments in energy and transport research. The audience is always actively involved, for example in experiments on stage or training for a flight into space.
BTU and DLR work together
The Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg and the German Aerospace Centre cooperate in research and teaching as well as in the field of promoting young talent. In March 2023, the main campus in Cottbus opened the DLR_SchooL_Lab BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg was opened. It offers pupils from year seven upwards the opportunity to explore the fascinating world of science through their own experiments. The main focus here is on environmentally friendly future technologies - from heat storage to electric flight. An excursion into the world of weightlessness also awaits the participants.
