A warm welcome at BTU: exchange students for the summer semester 2026

In April, BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg was delighted to welcome its new exchange students to the campus and, through a lively event, gave them a wide range of insights into their studies and campus life.

It was with great pleasure that BTU welcomed its new exchange students from partner universities across Europe and around the world at a special welcome event on campus in early April.

The event was a wonderful opportunity to introduce the new generation of exchange students to the wide range of opportunities awaiting them during their time at BTU.

The programme included important information about studying at BTU, exciting details about trips and excursions throughout the semester, as well as information about the Local Erasmus Initiative and the BTU Buddy Programme. To help students settle in and create a lively atmosphere, they took part in various icebreaker games, which helped them get to know one another and provided plenty of fun.

The gathering drew to a close with delicious pizza, lively conversations and plenty of opportunities to chat and plan future get-togethers. We are delighted to welcome our new exchange students this semester and wish them unforgettable experiences, lasting friendships and inspiring insights.
