5G / Edge Cloud Day
We warmly invite you to the 5G / Edge Cloud Day on 9 June 2026 at the Campus Senftenberg of the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg.
The event is organised by the Structural Change Unit in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute for Telecommunications, Heinrich Hertz Institute (HHI), and will take place in the Konrad Zuse Media Centre (Building 11), Lecture Theatre 11.122.
The event will focus on the strategic networking of the Health & Life Sciences and Sensor Technology & Artificial Intelligence research areas, with the involvement of the collaborating Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute (HHI). Furthermore, other interested parties from the fields of science and research are expressly welcome to attend.
The aim of the event is to generate new impetus for joint research and development activities, as well as to pool and further develop existing scientific and technological expertise across institutions.

The event offers you the chance to make new academic and industrial contacts, expand existing networks and jointly develop innovative approaches in the field of 5G and edge cloud technologies.

Photographs and video recordings will be taken during the 5G / Edge Cloud Day at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg, which may be published via analogue and digital communication channels as part of the organisers’ public relations work. By entering the event venues, participants agree to the possible publication of the recordings.
