Ethnic settlers and right-wing esotericism

Event organised by RLS Cottbus in collaboration with Studis gegen Rechts Cottbus as part of the ‘Science Against Fascism’ campaign week

Courses on ‘healing’ sewing techniques, meetings on building weather-manipulation annexes, alternative schools drawing inspiration from patriotic and strictly hierarchical models, talks by former ‘Corona rebels’, and the establishment of family estates modelled on the anti-Semitic Anastasia novels: right-wing ideology is using esotericism to gain a foothold even in circles that were not previously explicitly right-wing or even political at all. The event will address these dangerous trends.

Hanna Poddig is an environmental activist, journalist and author.
