EIZ and BTU on a successful outreach mission in India

During the trip, Dr Anupam Yadav from the Energy Innovation Centre (EIZ) in Cottbus held discussions with leading universities, research organisations and institutions, including the IIT Bombay, the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research and stakeholders from the German-Indian innovation network. The focus was on academic exchange, supporting students and early-career researchers, and joint projects in the fields of energy, sustainability and net-zero technologies.

India offers outstanding potential for collaboration. It is home to world-class research institutions that align closely with our own areas of expertise, and it provides excellent opportunities for locally embedded, transfer-oriented partnerships. In addition, our profile has consistently enabled us to attract highly motivated and talented students and early-career researchers from India. We intend to build on these strengths and further deepen our partnerships strategically.

Through this mission, EIZ and BTU are strengthening their presence in German-Indian science and innovation networks and raising the international profile of Lusatia as a region of innovation.
