India Day 2026 at the BTU

BTU President Prof. Gesine Grande and the Indian Ambassador, H.E. Mr Ajit Vinayak Gupte, will open the event, during which Indian students and researchers will share insights into their experiences and achievements. They will also outline their career paths and professional prospects. As well as providing opportunities for exchange and networking amongst participants, India Day showcases the diversity of Indian culture through performances by students. Anyone interested is warmly invited to attend.

With more than 1,250 young people, the group of students from India at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg is one of the largest groups of international students.
