Welcome to the SPEAK EUROPE: Language Festival 2026 “On the Move” (November 2-6, 2026)

From 2 to 6 November 2026, we will once again be celebrating the linguistic diversity of EUNICE. To mark the occasion, we are organising a week of language-related activities outside the regular teaching programme, under the theme ‘On the Move’.

There will be both synchronous and asynchronous events – both online and in person – where interested students can put their entire multilingual repertoire to use or learn something new about a language.

The programme includes, amongst other things, multilingual ‘snapshots’, explorations of linguistic landscapes, multilingual walks, an event on audiovisual translation, games evenings organised by students, language cafés, campus tours, a short story competition and a meme festival. Have we sparked your interest?

Participants in a similar event in 2025 highlighted the following as a particular highlight: “Learning about languages other than my own.”
