The Energy Innovation Centre at one of the world's leading trade fairs - the Hannover Messe

The Energy Innovation Centre will have its own stand at Hannover Messe 2025 for the first time.

The Cottbus Energy Innovation Centre (EIZ) will have its own stand for the first time, representing the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg. With more than 4000 exhibitors and more than 130,000 visitors, Hannover Messe is the world's leading trade fair for the industry. A great opportunity to network, exchange ideas and explore potential partnerships that will shape the future of energy.

Together with Prof. Dr Lars Röntzsch, Dr Shiva Kumar Sampangi and Hesham Mahfouz, I have the pleasure of presenting our findings, the latest technologies, results and innovations. The focus of our stand this year is on hydrogen technology developed in the Energy Storage and Conversion Lab. We will present a state-of-the-art high-pressure AEM water electrolyser stack - an efficient, compact hydrogen evolution technology manufactured in Cottbus.
The amount of information, context, discussions and presentations is mind boggling. It was also a great opportunity to make new contacts and exchange experiences, a highlight of which was the visit by Daniel Keller, Minister for Economic Affairs, Labour, Energy and Climate Protection in Brandenburg.
