The BMBF is funding the Digital Repair Factory with a total of 10.3 million euros

In the WIR! Alliance Digital Repair Factory, scientists from BTU are researching digital solutions in maintenance, servicing and repair together with 40 partners in seven joint projects. The goal is to network and profile the project region across industries and to actively shape structural change on the basis of technological, business and social innovations.

The new game "Monopoly Lausitz" is now available - Cottbus and the BTU are among them

Lusatia has been in Monopoly fever since March 21, 2022. A version of the world's most famous board game adapted to Lusatia was presented at Cottbus' Altmarkt. The secret was also revealed as to which 22 locations were at the top of the Lusatians' list in an online vote: The most expensive place in the game is Bautzen, followed by Cottbus.

Boomtown Cottbus launches a campaign for skilled workers

On the evening of February 28, 2022, Cottbus residents and travelers witnessed an illumination at Cottbus Central Station that was visible from afar. The Boomtown logo was projected onto the facade in red. The occasion was the launch of the "Boomtown Cottbus" campaign.
