As part of the national scholarship program "Deutschlandstipendium", the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg awards scholarships to particularly talented, high-achieving and socially committed students. Half of the funding for this program comes from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and half from private sponsors.

The central criterion for awarding the scholarships is special talent and performance. In addition, the previous personal career, social and family circumstances, social commitment and special successes can be taken into account (see § 2 of the Scholarship Program Ordinance - StipV).

Scholarships for the winter semester 2024/25

The scholarship amounts to € 300 per month and will initially be paid for two semesters (winter semester 2024/25 and summer semester 2025). If the requirements are met and financial resources are available, the scholarship can be extended upon application until the end of the standard period of study.
