It is currently not possible to apply for a Deutschlandstipendium. The BTU only offers Deutschlandstipendium scholarships for the winter semester. Information on the next call for applications for the winter semester 2024/25 is expected to be announced on this page at the end of June.

General

As part of the national scholarship program "Deutschlandstipendium", the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg awards scholarships to particularly talented, high-achieving and socially committed students. Half of the funding for this program comes from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and half from private sponsors.

The central criterion for awarding the scholarships is special talent and performance. In addition, the previous personal career, social and family circumstances, social commitment and special successes can be taken into account (see § 2 of the Scholarship Program Ordinance - StipV).
