The application process seems quite complex at first. However, it is significantly easier than for some state subsidies. What is important to keep in mind is that you have a slightly higher outlay one time and then receive a solid sum every month for a whole year. Even if you don't get the scholarship, you can use the application as a template for the next year.

The application process was very pleasant because everything could be uploaded digitally and I was able to clarify my questions in advance with the people responsible for the Deutschlandstipendium at the BTU. Through my sister and a friend who also received the Deutschlandstipendium, I also got a better feel for what documents I could submit and how I could present myself.

The application process was regulated and clear. After I had uploaded all the important documents, I just had to wait.

The application process was easier than expected, as the documents were quickly compiled and could be submitted online without any problems - filling out a Bafög application is much more extensive in comparison. Of course, the wait for the acceptance was fraught with excitement, but the joy was all the greater when the acceptance arrived.

It is a valuable resource and enrichment in every respect that you can draw on during your studies. Are you motivated, committed and creative? Do you want to take on increasing responsibility based on your future-oriented actions, whereby your work is especially appreciated? Then you should definitely apply for the Deutschlandstipendium! Applying for the scholarship is always a good idea. You can't do more than go wrong. Who knows - maybe you'll soon be a lot richer. :)

It is worthwhile in many ways: new experiences, contact with scholarship providers (politicians, professors, etc.), motivation, joy and pride.

I can only give one recommendation to all those interested: believe in yourself and apply (many scholarships simply cannot be awarded because there are no suitable applicants).

The scholarship is a strong support and only minimally affects state support, if at all. Receiving a scholarship is always a sign of appreciation that not only boosts your motivation, but also gives you a good bit of independence. By the way, you don't have to pay back a cent and the money is 100% at your disposal.

For me, the Deutschlandstipendium is a reward and distinction for my good performance and efforts during my studies. It has shown me that it pays to always give your best and that it is worthwhile to keep trying.

Thanks to the financial support of the scholarship, I was able to fulfil my long-awaited dream of an e-bike. So, in addition to my HiWi activities, I was able to save up money faster and already take my e-bike out on a bike tour this summer. Moreover, it is always an eye-catcher in my CV and I am positively approached about this aspect in job interviews - even by old recipients.

The financial allowance enabled me to activate greater time resources, which allowed me more freedom in my studies and career: a luxury for which I am still very grateful today.

Thanks to the scholarship, I was able to start my internship semester in Heidelberg without money worries and concentrate fully on my research.

The Deutschlandstipendium helps me to increase my self-confidence, to take on responsibility and to want to achieve success. Through the recognition, I experience the ongoing motivation to think further and want to create change. Finally, I can use the associated potential for innovative (social) ideas that shape a crucial part of our future. By supporting a social work student at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg for the first time, the discipline can continue to gain a presence that does justice to the existing need.

The scholarship has shown me that my performance and commitment are valued. I have gained new experiences and, of course, financial resources.

Thanks to the scholarship, in addition to my studies, job and club activities, I was able to finance enough to pursue my technical interests and to finance the occasional adventure.
