Project "Success stories and competences in exchange (EKA)"

The Technology and Innovation Department at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg facilitates access to the university's research and development capacities, especially for regional companies and craft businesses from the state of Brandenburg, and funds the initiation of research and development projects. This is done with the project "Success Stories and Expertise in Exchange (EKA)" at the BTU main campus and Campus Senftenberg.
The main aim of the project is to present successful cooperation formats and projects and to fund the exchange between business and science in a special way. It actively contributes to better networking between science and business and to awakening the technology needs of companies from Brandenburg, in particular small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Exemplary collaborations are made more visible in order to fund a sustainable exchange between companies, institutions and facilities as well as BTU chairs.
The Technology and Innovation Department at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg is the first point of contact for the Brandenburg Innovation Voucher (BIG) funding programme of the Brandenburg Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour, Energy and Climate Protection (MWAEK). The use of this funding programme by small and medium-sized companies and business premises from Brandenburg is an ideal starting point and easy entry point for further cooperation and future ambitious projects. The department is also the point of contact for those interested in the ProFIT Brandenburg funding programme. The programme funds the development of new products, processes and technologies as well as production set-up, market preparation and market launch with the aim of strengthening and accelerating the economic exploitation of research and development results in Brandenburg.
The department works closely with the services of Wirtschaftsförderung Land Brandenburg GmbH (WFBB) to implement technology transfer. Cooperation is also maintained with regional business development organisations, chambers and business associations.

The project "Success Stories and Expertise in Exchange (EKA)" is funded by the European Union and the State of Brandenburg.
