Startup Floor at the 10th anniversary of the BTU

On 1 July 2023, the BTU-community celebrated the 10th anniversary of the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg. For this purpose, the BTU projects COLab, Startup Community and Startup Service, together with the regional startup center STARTBLOCK B2 and the startup ecosystem Startup Lausitz offered the program item StartupFloor: Open House at STARTBLOCK B2.

The visitors were happy about the opportunity to get in touch with the regional startup scene of Lusatia. In particular, the start-up market, with a variety of offers from IQONIC.AI, Sonocrete, ePHANT, Ortego Technik or Cathi's Stickstübchen among others, was well received by the guests. Other interactive program items were the start-up consultation by Startup Lausitz, the start-up speed dating by HWK Cottbus, IHK Cottbus, BTU Founders' Service and Economic Development Agency Brandenburg, the children's reading about the city of Cottbus by the Lusatian Successor Bus project, the foosball tournament by EUNICE, LEGO-Serious Play and tours of the COLab.

The event served the purpose of sensitizing the broad civilian population in Lusatia to the topics of founding and entrepreneurship. Many participants wished for repeating the event with more time. The organizers will comply with this wish in the future.
